How are furniture items packed?
We are committed to ensuring that products reach you in perfect condition and pack them accordingly. Large fragile items such as stone tables, for example, are safely packed in wooden crates to protect them during the delivery process. A HC representative will advise you of our packing arrangements in advance so that you can prepare to unpack and enjoy your new furniture as quickly as possible.
Does HC Group deliver to PO Boxes?
We consider the security of our clients and their products to be a top priority. Most orders are delivered directly to your door and require a signature upon receipt. As such, we generally do not deliver to PO Boxes unless notified in advance that this will be necessary. If you require delivery to a PO Box, please don’t hesitate to contact us so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
How long will my delivery take?
In-stock items can be delivered within three to five working days depending on the size of the order and the delivery destination. Made to order items generally take 8-12 weeks. The exact time varies according to the order size, factory workload, and shipping schedule. Does HC Group provide an unpacking and on-site installation service?
Yes. For a competitive additional rate, HC Group can help you get your new work space assembled as quickly as possible. We can unpack items prior to delivery, reducing both delivery time and the amount of packing material you’ll have to dispose of. We also offer a premium assembly and installation service which guarantees that the creation of your work space will be a trouble-free process. What if goods are damaged during delivery?
Goods that are shipped by HC Group on behalf of the client are not insured unless the client notifies us prior to delivery and pays the appropriate insured delivery fee. HC Group is not responsible for goods damaged in transit if no insurance is taken by the customer prior to delivery. Prior to arranging shipping with HC Group, we advise that you check with your insurance company about Marine Transit Insurance to see if you are already covered for product delivery.
Can I check the status of my order?
Yes. Our shipping partner offers peace of mind through the provision of a unique shipping ID which you can use to check on your delivery’s status during each stage of the shipping process, from placement of the order to delivery.
